Originally built as a test track to display and test DCC locomotives, this layout demonstrates how a small layout can provide interest abd fun and at the same time be rewarding to operate. It is an advanced shunting layout. The majority of locos are sound fitted.
Chester Road is a fictitious location and is envisaged to be on the North Eastern/Midland border. The scene depicts an engine shed and refuelling depot in the steam-to-diesel transition period.
