On this page we will be adding details of the many layouts that have been built by club members (or are still under construction).

SDRM can transport up to three layouts in the one van. This dramatically reduces the costs of getting quality layouts to your exhibition.

Most of our layouts have exhibited at our own annual shows.

Many have been invited to other exhibitions and/or appeared in national publications.

Hunstanton (00 gauge)
Based on Hunstanton's track plan,
John's new layout is nearing completion.
He hopes to have it ready for this autumn.

Maymar Junction (TT120)
Chris is working on a shunting puzzle..

Grosmont (00 gauge)
Work has started on this NYMR station
This 16ft x 2ft exhibition layout fits
into a larger section at the clubrooms
making it a continous run 24ft 8ft oval.
Expected to be ready from early 2026

Museum Yard (N gauge)
Although its name is only temporary!
This 5ft x 2ft 6ins will fit into the back
of a car for easy transportation to shows.

Marklin (H0 gauge)
Another DCC layout, using this popular
continental 3 rail system, is nearing completion.
